How the BlackLogos online store uses cookies

Why are cookies needed?

Cookies are fundamental to providing user-friendly online services. With the help of cookies, the interaction between the web user and the website is faster and simpler. They allow the website to remember an individual’s preferences and experience, which saves time and makes browsing more efficient and pleasant.

At the start of each visit to the online store, every user is assigned a cookie for identification, keeping track of the shopping cart and ensuring traceability, which is stored in the server’s memory only for the duration of the visit. The store may also save certain persistent cookies on the user’s device, such as an encrypted user identifier for recognition on the next visit, and — indirectly and only with consent — cookies of external services such as Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which are used to analyse visits and measure advertising.

The store may use this data in anonymised, aggregated form for statistical analysis. For the purposes of online security, the store also collects the IP addresses from which users access it.

About cookies

Cookies are small text files that are saved on your device when you visit our website and cause no harm to your hardware or software. Their storage is fully controlled by your browser — you can limit or disable the storage of cookies as you wish.

A cookie is a small file, usually a sequence of letters and numbers, placed on the user’s device when they visit a website. Cookies are primarily there to make the website work at all; beyond that, they can improve the user experience. When you return to the site with the same device, the browser can check whether a related cookie exists and use its data — this is how websites recognise returning visitors and, in some cases, adapt the displayed content.

Cookies are not harmful and are always time-limited.

The use of cookies in the European Union is governed by the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC (as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC) and the GDPR, together with the national legislation of the EU Member States.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the correct operation of the website; without them the transmission of messages in the communication network would not be possible. They are also needed to offer you the services available in our online store — they enable the shopping cart, checkout, consent storage and session identification. No consent is required for their use.

Analytics and advertising cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our store; with their help we improve the user experience and identify user needs and trends. Third-party tools and plugins used as cookies enable functionality, help analyse how often the site is visited and how it is used — on this site that means Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel. If you do not agree to their use, these cookies are not installed, though some features of the site may then be unavailable. We only use these cookies if you have explicitly consented.

The use of cookies is your choice. You can always delete cookies and with that remove your recognisability on the web. For the options of individual browsers, we suggest checking the settings of the browser you use.

Disabling/enabling cookies

You can also disable cookies directly in your web browser. For information about cookie settings, select the browser you use.

If you change or delete your browser’s cookie file, change or upgrade your browser or device, you may need to disable cookies again. The procedure for managing and deleting cookies differs from browser to browser; if you need help, check your browser’s help pages.

Managing your consent

You can withdraw or change your consent for analytics and marketing cookies at any time. The button below removes your stored choice and the consent banner will appear again the next time the page loads.
